For many years, UkrPlasma developed and used technologies based on the unique properties of microwave plasma in industrial applications.plasma control and management

Our work showed high efficiency and environmental safety in various industrial processes:

  • Oil-free heating of boilers and stabilization of coal fuel combustion in coal-fired power plants.

Our technology has improved the environmental and economic performance of the power plant, the use of low-grade coal fuel and biomass, and the reliability and experimentation of equipment.

  • Purification of combustible energy and flue gases containing sulphur, nitrogen, soot, resin and carcinogens (dioxins and furans) in a plasma filter.

Our technology is used in industrial plants to reduce harmful emissions to the atmosphere. Plasma flue gas cleaning is a first-class, clean, proven solution that can be used in existing coal-burning power plants, smelters, waste incinerators and pyrolysis plants. It allows to achieve properties that are economical and superior to environmental limits.

  • Gasification of biomass, coal, waste with high energy efficiency of fuels and waste to energy.

Plasma gasification produces pure synthesis gas that can be used to replace coal or natural gas in power plants or for direct use in engines or turbines. Energy production efficiency accounts for about 70% of the energy in the reprocessed fuel and waste, which is significantly more than what is recovered from combustion.

  • Plasma management of municipal waste; an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to landfilling and incineration.

Plasma waste treatment is environmentally sound, with no residues, and the most cost-effective technology. The product of processing is pure synthetic gas, energy and solid glazed slag-commercial building material.

  • Plasma conversion of hydrocarbon fuels to produce gas with a high concentration of hydrogen.

Thermoplasmic technology is used effectively to produce hydrogen and hydrogen-enriched gases from methane and other fuels. Thermal plasma is a high-energy state of a substance that is characterized by extremely high temperatures (several thousand degrees Celsius) , a high degree of dissociation and a significant degree of ionization. High temperatures accelerate the reactions involved in the process. The production of hydrogen-enriched gas in the presence of water for use in fuel cells is efficiently carried out from natural gas in a compact plasma reformer.

  • Spherization in the flow of microwave thermal plasma of high-purity metal and metal-ceramic powder compositions for additive 3D pressurized printing and metal injection moulding.
